At the end of the third act comes the long-awaited moment. The &#8220;Va pensiero&#8221;. And here you hold your breath, you don&#8217;t blink, you put all your senses into it so as not to miss anything of that moment. And how it sounds! It moves beyond imagination. Tears well up in the audience and in some of the members of the choir. No wonder. The ovation is such that they are forced to bis.
