“The chorus of the Teatro Real demonstrated again its vigorous male section, both in the second act, and in the third: powerful offstage voices in the a cappella “Hoiho, Hoiho” with which they communicate with Siegfried. In the big choral scene of the second act they gave a great interpretation of the bridal chorus “Heil dir Gunther”, besides being excellent actors: one could see their rudeness in the third act.”
